Scott & Khanh’s Luxurious Multicultural Wedding at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Thorpe Garden

On 13th July 2023, Scott and Khanh celebrated their love with a stunning multicultural wedding that blended British and Vietnamese-Chinese traditions. Their day began with preparations at home, followed by a beautiful and meaningful traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Before heading to their Catholic wedding, the couple and their families enjoyed a delicious Chinese meal in the city—a nod to Khanh’s heritage and a wonderful way to bring everyone together.

The ceremony was held at the historic Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Sutton Coldfield, a Grade II listed building known for its neo-Gothic architecture and intricate stained-glass windows. This breathtaking setting added a sense of grandeur and reverence to the couple’s vows, surrounded by their family and friends.

After the church service, the celebrations moved to Thorpe Garden, one of our all-time favourite venues and a gem in the Coco Wedding Venues collection. The yurt, with its soaring ceilings and streams of natural light, provided a luxurious and airy space for the reception. The venue’s serene gardens were perfect for capturing phenomenal couple shots, with lush greenery creating a romantic backdrop. The bridal and grooms’ party also joined in for some epic smoke bomb shots, adding a burst of fun and colour to the day.

A highlight of the reception was the all-afternoon and evening performances by The Function Band, a world-renowned live band known for their incredible energy and ability to create unforgettable experiences. Guests joined the band in singing throughout the evening, with Scott and Khanh leading the way, turning the reception into a vibrant celebration of music and love.

Scott and Khanh’s wedding was the perfect fusion of tradition, culture, and contemporary luxury. From heartfelt moments during the tea ceremony to joyous celebrations at Thorpe Garden, every part of their day was filled with meaning, elegance, and unforgettable memories.
